Looks very nice and very useful.
Let's hope people (finally) stop asking for a Firebug extension![]()
Interesting.
But I don't really understand the profiles yet. ^^;

Oh god I just found out last night the resources option shows header requests too.That's so epic.
I think they've completely replaced Firebug now, right?

Damn, I was going to post some stuff that I couldn't do with Firebug yet. Then I decided to test it again, and for my great surprise, it's working exactly as Firebug (with plenty of other resources).
I develop systems in PHP but mainly I work with design plus making the XHTML/CSS for it. In Firebug I could disable/enable CSS properties and also change those, and the page would respond in real time. Now all that is possible with Chrome developer tools
And also, another complain I did have is that couldn't put that bar in the bottom of the page (at least I didn't see that option till now), and now I can.
So yes, for me no more need for Firebug - and also, no need more for Firefox.
Oh, the only bug is that sometimes when I minimize and maximize it, the developer bar dissapears when I get back to the page, and not even with the shortcut I'm able to open it. I need then to resize the browser's window, to be able to extend the panel (seems to be shrinked).

You should return to Firefox forums and (gently) tell other Firefox developers about your findings...
More people deserve to know AND we need more developers for Chrome...![]()
There is just one thing I still miss and would be great.
In Chrome Developer Tools I'm still not able to add a property to a tag.
Let's say I'm viewing this forum's code. If there is a tag without properties and I want to add it, then I'm not able. The only thing I'm able to do is to edit the tag's properties which are already available.
For debugging in XHTML/CSS this is really helpful.
If not available in the next releases, I'm going to suggest it.
There was a bug with the dev bar shrinking. I reported it and in the next day was fixed. Devs are being really fast with it.
