So how does everyone like the new black 'Special Firefox Edition' Aero theme?

I like the Firefox theme but I'm getting this in Iron 3.0.189...

you should update to 190.4, if there is iron with this version. in most cases dll files made for some version do not suit others.

.dll skins are history, no?
.crx is the way to go... at least you will not have to update the skin on every Dev version.

im not sure about that. after all, default.dll is stored in a folder called themes.
and if you ask me - i didnt like the crx thing at all. downloading and installing itself without questions or warnings, applying on top of each other, uninstall doesnt remove it right away, after pressing "reset to default theme" there are some bugs with the appearance of the caption (where the tabs are).. i dont know. maybe they will fix this, and maybe they will add something like theme manager, but right now - dll skins are not history =)

Give these guys from Chrome some time and slack...

I'm not ready to switch to .crx themes, mainly because you can't customize the shapes of the buttons and tabs, the bookmarks' icons and the about dialog box.

I reckon I've got the installation of Stamga's themes to under 10 seconds these days ...

Even without a theme manager it's not exactly the hardest of processes to update your theme ....

So why change something that works so perfectly well and brings so much joy to people ;-)

Is 2.5 working on 3.0.192.3 ?
