Yes, I would definitely like to be a theme group leader, but I would have to re-become a little more active on the forums.

EDIT: And yes I am the one who made all the banners and logos for Chrome Plugins ;) I also made the logo for Chrome Themes (.org).

I'm extremely new here, but I would be most interested in joining a themer group. I just recently started theming for Chrome, but I'll be releasing quite a few themes over the next week or so. Not exactly sure what kind of people you're looking for, but here is an example of my only released theme (currently): Screenshot
PS: I would just post the image instead of a link, but everytime I try it just gives a broken image icon instead....
I'd be interested, once I learn how to make themes.
