Would be even better if you were to do the text in white or yellow or red so you could actually read it ...

yuck! Thats exactly what I dont want.....I can read it just fine and I dont want them standing out like dogs balls. If I could I would also dim the icons on the bookmarks bar (dont know if I can do ya?) so you could hardly see them aswell.....I was thinking of making that text brighter as it does look wrong with those bright icons, but Im perfectly happy with the tabs.

I think it is possible to edit the colour of the text now with crx themes :-)

I look the code of an theme created by google, and for change the font of a inactive tab is:
"tab_background_text":[255,255,255]
change 255,255,255 for your color code

for bookmark color text is:

I know, I did that.....want I want is the ability to tint the icons on the bookmark bar. You wouldnt know where to make a feature request like that would ya?....Im new to all this.

Had to make a slight change to it. The bookmark text is much more readable now because it was no use making it that dark when I cant dim the icons (looked ugly) and more important is that the bookmark text colour is used for the download shelf button text (I dont know what its called ) and it was completely unreadable.

Its a crx, dont have the energy to do full on dll themes....respect to all that do!
