From your Options on the Tool menu you can now get to the Chrome Theme Gallery ...

I'm just wondering has anyone actually installed any ...

I've had a play and think they're actually quite cool in that the Theme extends to the background, looks really good on the NewTab page...

We're sorry, but themes are available for Google Chrome 3.0.195.3 and above only.

@sulasno: They work for me.. The page shows the little banner you mentioned but the themes still work.

@StevePaul: I also like the way their extended I have tried messing around with them but I prefer making a whole theme instead of just using a background image.

It appears that the banner is gone now;

I suspect that many users did misunderstand the message :-)

I use the glow theme:

I use them because it seems those dll ones break when theres an update and I dont wanna have to bother with all that and the official theme system can still get it to look right with the rest of my windows (well almost anywayz). Pity tho, that Aero theme is freakn sweet.

I like the choices that this gives me. In the gallery there are just limited themes that you can pick and I like something more. The artists here create cool themes and I like them better.
