Default Doctor Who Theme - Version 0.5

A quick attempt at a theme and my first theme. Sorry it's not very good. I had trouble resizing images etc.

    But Here you Go:-

I will be making more versions later. But can anyone provide me with some tips. Like guides. I searched guides here and mainly only found old ones. But came across a problem but not very easy for me...

Also sizes. Like I had to resize the main Image for the New Tab page because it would not fit and leave a white backround. So any help there would be appreciated so I can make more

    Size:- 417.2KB
Tested and working fine on: Windows 7-
    Chrome 4.1 Stable
    Chromium 5.0

    EDIT: Updated with Version 0.5

a little busy but not bad at all for your first version/theme .
    sizes:
frame & background: (124X760 or 1600X900 or your screen resolution size)*
    toolbar image: 36X86 (tiled)
    tab: 32X32
    button: 28X28 or 32X32

*i'll get yelled at for that frame dimension but it's the easiest you can halve it and be fine . also the large background is because i used images as part of the background

    added guide images (.png)

Edit. The size Proto you provided for the background is not that good. I made my image like that and when using it. The image is in the middle and there is white around the edge. Can't the program auto-stretch the image like I have seen themes do?

Was using 1024 x 768. But it made it small and when maximised there was white around it all. What sizes do most people make the images. I made it fit by dragging the size bigger. But I don't know if that works for everyone...

Rather hectic theme for me but I like the new Doctor Who logo (hate what they did to the intro tune tho, bleh!)

If you need to resize an image check a reverse image search engine to see if you can find a bigger one...

You cant set an images properties to stretch so you need to make the images background colour match the new tabs background colour.

    Heres an example...

Just updated with Version 0.5. Posted on the Chrome Extension Gallery too I noticed some bugs like when download files/extensions you can't read the next. That should be fixed in the next version. Which should be V0.55/V0.6.

V1.0 is hopefully due in a few days. Maybe by the weekend.
