Default Forcing positioning of window close/maximize buttons as on Mac

    Hi,

I'm using Linux with a theme that has the window buttons in the upper left corner of the window. With window buttons, I mean the three buttons like window close, window maximize/restore and window minimize.

Now, all apps that come with Linux will adhere to the Linux theme. Except Chrome, which obviously draws his own window buttons.

Can I force Chrome on Linux to place the window buttons in the upper left corner, like it does on Mac OS X?

im not completely sure you can. i know that on windows if i have a windowblinds skin that has buttons on the left, google chrome will not change. but then again, you are using a linux version. yeah... im not sure if its actually possible.

    Default

Go into Chrome Options and select "Use System Title Bars". It adds the system title bar. You can't get the normal buttons to move since it's part of the UI. And as the majority of Ubuntu uses have the buttons on the right. And most Chrome users use Windows with buttons on the right. It's unlikely it will be changed as default.

Mac only has it as it is set default with buttons of the left so they made a special Mac UI.
    Chrome and Chromium FTW!
