How would I get started creating a Chrome theme? I would like to create a Chrome theme in CRX format, but have absolutely no idea where to start. Is there a good guide or template available on the internet? I'd also like the theme to be as customizable as chrome allows for.
Note I have experience in creating Firefox themes too.

hit the wrench in the top right corner, click on 'about google chrome' . note: this is also true for about 99% of the programs/apps out there (usually help/about program/app name) .Originally Posted by springwoods
@ vader, if you skin/themed for firefox...you'll totally love this simplicity . nothing pissed me off more than completing a firefox theme and then having to turn around an start recoding all over again two months later .
