This is the original theme of Google Chrome for use with Dev channel Chrome version 2.0.180.0, which has an ugly black bar across the top, caused by a bug. May be of use to someone. The file is attached.

To install, put it in (on XP)

C:/Documents and Settings/{user}/Local settings/Application Data/Google/Chrome/Application/2.0.180.0/Themes/default.dll (backup original first and overwrite)

(on Vista)

C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Local\Google\Chrome\Application\2.0.180.0\Themes\default.dll (backup original first and overwrite)

This is my first theme, I know it's not really mine, but it wasn't available on 2.0.180.0 as far as I know, so I figured I'd release it. I will be making a more original theme soon, and will also be trying my hand at making extensions.

Anyway, enjoy the theme if you've updated to 2.0.180.0 to make use of extensions.

I thought the black bar was a bug ?
Is this the official new look for the upcoming Stable version ?

I think the black bar is a bug, but a custom theme can "correct" it. I assume this theme will be in the stable version, as this is just the default blue theme, only built for 2.0.180.0.
