I just re-made this theme, and it pretty much works, however, the installer file (.crx) is 124mb is size!!!

ok, i fixed it, its not 100% like the original, but has the same sorta feeling plus the crx is only 410kb now

Anyway, I know it's impossible to make a theme exactly like the original one. Would you modify the details like tab color or transparence? And the backgroud is pretty weird...

i could try to, how exactly would you want it?, i had to stretch the background lol, it still is pretty odd lol

Change a backgroud, or just use the default picture... ;-)

It wont waste my time, it gives me something to do, i just repacked it with the default picture, but i cannot seem to open the crx with chrome, windows goes to open it but doesnt know what to open it with

For the background, do you mean the New tab page one?
and the default is white so it is sorta bland, if you have a picture i suppose i could put that in for you
