Hi everybody! I know there's some serious talent in here when it comes to creating themes...and one can only hope that my request can come to life...

What I envision is a Chrome theme of Fallout 3's Pipboy, pictured here:


How I would prefer it, would be to have the header to encorporate the image of the outside base of the pipboy, with the rustic grey color and screws. However, the framing/tabs of Chrome, take on the dark green and light green accents of the actual screen of the pip-boy.

Even better, I would love it if the buttons were orangish red like the bottom buttons of the pip-boy and when moused over, they lit up bright orange like the bottom light under the STATS button in the picture.

Also, for the new tab page picture...it absolutely must use or include this image:

I realize this may be a lot to ask for...but I would love to see how creative p.fil and Jedi Knight could get with this theme. Really looking forward to seeing your guys designs from a HUGE Fallout 3 fan. Thanks!

i had to come back a day later and a day sober(er) and reread your request to understand it . your request makes perfect sense and i can see where you're going with it . it's very doable, very and the suggestion/request/demand for the new tab page background clinched it . i'll see what i can do but do not count on it today (superbowl sunday) .

Lol...yeah I could see how at first read, its a little hard to understand, especially if you're a little inebriated at the time, haha. But I'm thrilled to hear that you see my vision and are going to try to make it a reality. I really, really appreciate you taking the time to do this p.fil. And seriously, don't worry, take your time...I'd rather wait a week for the best possible theme, then have something in a day. So really, whenever you finish, you finish...I'm looking forward to the finished product, cause I know it will be nothing short of amazing. Thanks again!!!

WOOOOOW!!! p.fil, this theme is seriously EXACTLY like I imagined it...I'm blown away at how great it is! Thank you soooo much. I love how you added the Status, SPECIAL, Skills, etc. on the header like that...It really adds to the effect and I didn't even think of that. Super awesome man, using it right now and loving it.

Just have 2 minor requests...

1. I'm using a laptop that has a 1280 x 800 resolution, the image on the new tab page is too small to fit and so there's a really bad green border on the sides... doesn't look as nice unless I shrink my chrome window. Anyway you can make a more widescreen friendly version of this theme to fit my laptop and other wide resolutions?

2. The tabs tabs/toolbar/bookmark color is a little too dark for my tastes...it doesn't really "pop" from the header bar...It almost blends right in. Is there anyway you can lighten the color just a bit to make it stand out more from the dark green header bar?

Other then that...this theme is perfect man. I really, really appreciate you taking the time to make it exactly like what I envisioned.

i can work on the toolbar/back tab color/hue but for the resolution size ....i have no clue how i could test it . anyone have a suggestion because this constantly comes up ....screen bigger than the 1024X768 px .

Thanks p.fil...and I hope I don't come off as demanding or unthankful...because believe me, I truly appreciate all your efforts on this.

Speaking of the tabs...You know how you have the "Perks" highlighted in the header bar? I was hoping that's how you could make the current tab that's open look. Highlighted green like that, to really pop and let you know that's the selected tab. And then keep all other open tabs transparent like your current design. Anyways, just a thought, either way, I love this theme...thank you again!

in no way did i feel you were being demanding, you're handling it the right way . i like the toolbar tab idea you have and it should be very doable .
