Did this ever happen? This is exactly what I'm looking for in a bookmarklet downloader.

I've followed all mentioned steps to create bookmark called 'Download Video from YouTube' but when i clicked on that bookmark button, nothing happened.

Or have a look at this thread. The download site mimics YouTube so you can look for other videos, and allows multiple download formats of the same video, even in mp3 with no visuals (good for music vids).

Good one, And Your script works perfectly well for youtube, but not for dailymotion. It Was very simple and worked great for me. great works.
