    Not sure what the latest version of Portable chrome is ....

    If its at the latest Beta level than it will support extensions ...

    If the extension folder doesn't exist, then having extensions enabled (Chrome shortcut) will automatically create one ....

    latest portable version that I have running in Win 7 is 3.0.182.3

    In that case you should be OK with extensions ...

    If I remember right there's a folder called Profil and inside that there is the Default folder ...

    You should then find a folder called Extensions (You should also have one for User Scripts)

    You just need to add --enable-extensions to the shortcut

    portable running only in Win 7

    Dev channel Chrome is installed in WinXP

    btw there's an update for Dev channel Chrome; and user scripts are not working

    going to try extensions

    installed in WinXP
    1. Chrome dev channel
    2. Portable Chromium
    3. Portable Iron

    installed in Win7
    1. Portable Chromium
    2. Portable Chrome
