Happy with Google Chrome, but was wondering if there was a way to hide the favicons on the bookmark toolbar (ie. show only the text)?

I was looking for the opposite though;
show only icons and no text

In order to show only icons, you simply edit the bookmark and delete the text.
That's what I do.

But as far as I know, you can't remove the favicons from your favorites. They are favicons after all.

Darn.. I realize that the favicons are supposed to make it easier to find your bookmark, but I kinda prefer the look without favicons. Iono... in my opinion makes the whole interface look cleaner. Oh well, I can live with it.

found an extension for Firefox that shows only icons without text for the bookmark bar
