Default How to pin tabs on startup in Chrome

I was looking for a way to pin tabs on chrome's startup right away.

After finding only desperate threads like this one: [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] and Google didn't turn up with much either. So for all those who were as desperate as me I dug deep into the matter and found a way. I hope the next steps are still a little new and exciting for all of you

    (1) Add the tabs you want to open on startup.
Go to the Wrench -> Options and under Basic select Open the following pages and add whatever you want. I like GMail, GCalendar, Wave and Docs.

See here what it could look like:

    (2) Now, I'll take a wild guess and say you start chrome with the help of a shortcut. For me, it's the Windows 7 Taskbar. I'd click right on the chrome symbol and do another right click on the actual link, then select properties. Somewhat like I did here, I think you can guess:

    (3) Add -pinned-tab-count=n to the target line. n equals the number of tabs you'd like to have pinned starting from the first tab you specified in step 1. I want chrome to load four tabs on startup and pin all of them so I'd chose -pinned-tab-count=4

That's it. I love it, looks like this everytime I start it. Everything I need is there from the start and takes very little space. You could add news sites to the auto start-up and not pin them because you'll close them when you read them. But I don't wanna tell you what to do, just how you could do it

Hope I could help some of you.

    I run Chrome 4.0.223.16 under Windows 7 Ultimate RC SP2 32-Bit Build 7100.

I find a little bit annoying that the focus is on the first tab (pinned) and not on the last (in my ocasion - a New Tab Page)

Actually, I have no idea. But I remember that the shortcut targets in XP were given in quotation marks, I think.

So if it looks like this
    "C:\Program Files\Chrome\chrome.exe -pinned-tab-count=4"
    it doesn't work but
    "C:\Program Files\Chrome\chrome.exe" -pinned-tab-count=4
might. Note the position of the quotation marks.

Just a guess, I really have neither an idea nor Windows XP
