    Naughty naughty !!!

    At present I do not think you can clear just 1 entry. It is either all or nothing.

    Why don't you use the incognito mode witch leaves no traces whatsoever...

    The only way I know of is opening the History file in and SQLite editor (while Chrome isn't running), then finding the record and deleting it.

    thanks for your reply. and I think chrome should add this feature. In the firefox, I can remove any entry from the list and it will remove the file from the file system. This function is very convenient.

    Firefox 1.0 was released on November 9, 2004 (almost 5 years old)
    Chrome was released 11 December 2008 (not even a year old)

    I mean stable releases NOT beta!

    BRAVO Chrome

    Select the download entry. This will highlight it. Right click and hit "Remove". Enjoy!

    @redraze

    Firstly, welcome to the forum ..

    Could I perhaps suggest you check the age of a thread and it's last post before you contribute to it ....

    This thread (and last post) is over 3 months old ;-)

    Hey, I like old threads - there's always something coming back to bit you in the arse with PCs and software, so they're useful left hanging around!

    And what I'd like to be able to do is have the stupid download bar auto-hide a short time after downloads have ended. Again, just a simple on/off toggle in Options would have been easy to add, like so many things...

    Rome wasn't build in 1 day :=)

    But I feel rather sure that the download bar is going to disappear along with the toolstrip for extensions..
