    Thumbs up Makeshift Bookmark Seperator

    Makeshift Bookmark Seperator for Google Chrome



    Step 1
    Add a bookmark where you want the seperator.

    Step 2
    Add hyphens ( - ) to fit the width you want.

    Step 3
    Add http://transparent-favicon.info/favicon.ico as the url

    Step 4
    Click on the bookmark to visit the site so that the favicon is updated.

    Step 5
    Done.

    You know, hit the hyphen key a few times in the name field when adding a new bookmark.

    Another tip: You can use this character to make a solid line instead of a dashed line:
    "─" (U+2500)
    I prefer this character though:
    "≡" (U+2261)

    I think that's the Unicode of the character. It's much easier to just copy and paste (or to get it from the character map Accessories>System Tools) than to type it, though it is possible.
