Anyone ever tried a right click on an open tab and then "Pin Tab"?![]()

Version: 4.0.222.3, w/ --bookmark-menu --enable-local-storage --enable-session-storage --enable-user-scripts --enable-godmode
No, as I do not have that option..
Chromium 4.0.221.0 (Udviklerversion 27753)
man thats stoned.. I couldn't understand, how you apparently was running a newer version than I.. until I found this in changelog, "Updating trunk VERSION from 220.2 to 221.0".. Some1 most be tired at Google when they can manage to go backwards in versions .oO
@nandayo
Wasn't there in 206 ...
Not sure what it's supposed to achieve, other than move the tab to the left most position (and remove any description);
Unless something else has already been 'pinned' there in which case it moves it next to it..
PS: Just had this pop up in one of my 'Tech' feeds ...

PPS: Shame the effect isn't permanent ;-)

@Steve
Oh, OK. Thank you. I wasn't sure anymore. There was a time when I checked out every single detail in Chromium when a new version came out lol but since they start pushing out hourly builds ... I got lazy lol.
Yes, indeed it would be great if the effect would be permanent
@Benni
LOL!

I wonder what's the function of Duplicate?
Chromium developers sure have funny taste
@nandayo
The only problem with just showing the favicons is that some sites only have a 'blank page' so you wouldn't have a clue who they are ...
@sulasno
The 'duplicate' is quite handy if your posting like here, you can scroll up and down the thread (in the other tab) to see which bits you want to comment against if you can't remember what is is you wanted to say ;-)
If it's a page that you always wan't pinned that's blank, write a script for manually adding a favicon. That's what I did.

The ability to pin tabs was something that I really missed in Chrome when switching from FF. And now what I have to use 2 extensions for in FF (faviconize tab & permanent tab), Chrome manages 'out of the box'.
