Cool Portable Chrome (PortableApps suite)

For those of you who weren't adventurous enough to use a Portable version of Chrome based on the Dev channel builds (see my previous post ...Perfect Portable Chrome - StevePaul's Quest) ..

Those very nice people at PortableApps.com (Responsible for producing portable versions of very popular software) have finally released one for Chrome

http://portableapps.com/apps/interne...hrome_portable

It is based on the latest Stable/Beta build (3.0.195.27) so should keep everybody happy ...

It's only available for Windows and uses an online installer (which means it will download additional files on install) ..

It's (imo) a nice addition to the PortableApps.com suite ..

Enjoy ;-)

So I'm not the only one that noticed this. I'm glad PortableApps is now offering Freeware and Open Source Software and not just open source software. I hope it continues like this, and I'm also happy Skype Portable got released.

Well actually Chrome is freeware, but Chromium is Open Source. Or maybe I got that wrong but PortableApps thinks it freeware.
