No, I don't even think there is (or going to be?) anyway of making a toolbar. I know there's a couple of extensions that might help you thought.

[New Ext] Alexa Rank Display alexa.
    [New Ext] PageRank Display pagerank

There isn't actually a toolbar for Chrome (might never be), however our very own Administrator (Chrome) did create one (sort of) using Bookmarklets ....

    Google Toolbar for Chrome

There was also another thread that discussed using the toolstrip (but it was a bit teckie for me !!)...

    Simple toolbar creation

    Hope this helps ;-)

I don't think you need a toolbar for Google Chrome. You write what you're interested in searching for in the address-bar... it's as simple as that!

Is this about what you meant? :S
But they never will make it a toolbar for Chrome. Having toolbars in Chrome is against the design entirely. They're trying to integrate all the common man's features of the toolbar into the browser itself, and I'm sure the rest can be browser actions if you don't like the bookmarklets.

I want the gizmos that are standard on Google Toolbar.
e.g.: highlight, auto fill, translate, etc.

does anybody know how to grab theses wonkys for chrome?

Does anybody know how to post a new thread here?

To post a new thread, go back to the main page for the forum you're in, and see Post New Thread on the upper left side.

Well I for one, would like a Toolbar, and a place for Favourites, My Pics, My Docs, My Computer, etc.

Think I might just stick with IE. Chrome might be faster, but for me it's not nearly so user-friendly.

    Cheers,
