From what I've heard from the Google IO videos wave will be released today to some developers.

About IE my opinion is that people who live in the 21th century and use IE are very dumb and f**k them, I'm a web developer and I've lost a lot of time just to make things work on IE.

Yeah, they send out 100,000 invites today to people who signed up on their "waiting list" some time ago. One can request an invitation to their alpha or soon beta here. If one can't wait.. s/he can buy an invitation on eBay for 160 USD LOL (eBay item number 180413798949)

CNET writes: "Google received more than 1 million requests to participate in the preview, said Lars Rasmussen, engineering manager for Google Wave, and while it won't be able to accommodate all those requests on Wednesday it is at least ready to begin the next phase of the project..." LOL

$160 US, you've got to be kidding me! I'm geeky enough to actually pay $5 for an invite though

Funny thing is... even if you would have won the item/invitation ... it just means you'll be on another list. Invitation doesn't mean that you can use it immediately lol

From what I've understood if someone will receive one invitation than that person can send 5 invitations and those who receive those 5 invitations can send 5 invitations as well. Is that true?

If there is someone who has an invitation I will appreciate if he will send me one (I will tell my e-mail via PM).

Best is to use the official waiting list. You never really know what the people behind this page do with the mail addresses. I mean is there an easier way to get working mail addresses... *free*? :-D

There is already lot of abuse... on Twitter there were (and still are) several accounts GoogleWaveBlabla who promised to send out invites after following and RT'ing a message. Thousands of people sent out RT's LOL... a day later some Google employee said it's just fraud LMAO...
