Default "The application failed to initialize properly"

    Hay Guys,
i never had problems with my Google Chrome or Chromium Webbrowser. But suddenly, it doesn't work?! I dont know what the problem is, but maybe I can tell you some information about my computer and my system, and about Chromium and the Google Updater.

At first - Ive got Windows 7 Professional.

The service "Google Software Updater" does NOT work. When I try to Start, the service works, but after 40 seconds, it crashed.

When I Start Chromium or Google Chrome, there is this error:

In the right, my error (I'm from Germany) and in the left, the translated error in english.

I already tried to install .NET Framework, but nothing happens.
I Hope you can help me - and sorry for my bad english xD

    Kevin

    Hey Kevin,

There are a few issues addressed onto the initialization failure of Chrome.
Most of the precious time, the initial execution configuration might be causing several problems.

So, just for getting sure on it, please do the following.

Make sure every instance of Chrome is killed. [Verify at TaskMgr]
Open the file-properties of Chrome ( Right-click - Properties, C:\Users\%username%\AppData\Local\Google\Chrome\Application\chrome.exe ) and get to the compatibility settings.
Now, check the box at "Run in compatibility-mode for [Vista]", then check the box [Run as administrator].
    Apply, and restart Chrome.

If that doesn't work, Uninstall Chrome, then Reinstall and install: http://www.google.com/chrome/eula.html?extra=devchannel

If that's not working either, just respond.

I know you are german, therefor i wrote the german version below

    Hi Kevin,

first of all i need some informations about your chrome installation.
which version do you have? which extensions did you installed?
is any information found in the event logs of your windows installation? i think there must an entry found, when the google updater crashes.

    == german version ==

    Hi Kevin,

als erstes brauche ich ein paar weitere informationen über deine Chrome installation.
welche version hast du? welche erweiterungen hast du installiert?
kannst du in den ereignis logs von windows irgend etwas dazu finden wenn der chrome updater abschmiert? Ich bin mir sicher dass darin etwas über den fehler steht.
