    Default Can't find bookmarks

I clicked on Import Bookmarks and Settings from IE, closed IE, hit Import, and the green checks indicated that my bookmarks had been imported - but where are they? They're not on that bookmarks toolbar or under 'other bookmarks' as far as I can tell. Chrome is so much faster than IE but I want my bookmarks!

    Thanks

    Default Where's the Bookmarks Bar?

I have just installed Google chrome and I have tried adding sites to the Bookmarks Bar. Nothing appears to happen but if I go to the Bookmark Manager the sites I have added are shown under both Recently Added and, so it says, they are also on the Bookmark Bar.
All I want is a nicely setout Bookmark Bar like Firefox has, where I don't have to go to tools, Bookmark manager, right-click and select the option to open. It's almost as easy to type in the full URL!
    Am I missing something?

@Unix Guy you have to press ctrl-B to make the bookmarks bar visible...

Is it just me or is Chrome being difficult here?

Tools menu (wrench) > Tools > Always show bookmarks

Simple little tip I learnt a long long time ago (applies to anything) ...

Right click and left click on everything, you'll be surprised what you find (hidden or otherwise) ;-)
