Default Can't use corporate web based applications

    Hi folks,

I am running the latest dev build as a portable version on my corporate XP machiene. Portable because I am not having installation rights.

What I would like to do is use my corporate web applications with chrome instead of IE7. I am sure you can understand

When I am going to the corporate login page, enter my user and password and click on the log in button nothing happens.

I have had the same with Firefox in the past. I guess the webapplication is build for IE.

Is there anything I can do to get this running? It would safe me so much headache...

    Thanks a lot!

    Default .

Well I can't really know what sort of intranet your company is running, but it smells like something that depends on activex, so no other browser than IE will could be used.

@stutenberg; If you use a proxy server like Proxomitron, you can tell it to send the browser ID as another, eg., IE. Have a look here. The setup (config) files I supplied have the Header Out set to IE7. It won't help if you have ActiveX problems, but other than that it may work fine. Plus you can block junk you don't want to see.
