I was always wondering why Chrome was getting so slow after installing an extension. I just checked using my task manager that Chromium seems to run/load chrome.exe for every extension that I have running. So with two extensions (Gmail checker and clock) it’s 50 MB more RAM.
Reminds me of Firefox and that’s what originally made me switch. Is that a bug? Or (as Mozilla calls it) a feature?
