How do I set my bookmarks.html back into chrome without it going into the subfolder "imported bookmark folder"

There is a "more work" way, and a "less work" way:

(1) More work method
If you already have the bookmarks imported now, first select all the other bookmarks and delete them. Then, select all the bookmarks inside the "Imported bookmarks" folder, cut/delete them, then paste them back into the proper folder.

(2) Less work method
I assume you already have the bookmarks saved in the bookmarks.html file. First, from the bookmark manager, select all your existing bookmarks and delete them. Now you can import the bookmarks from bookmarks.html. When the bookmark manager is empty, the bookmarks will import into the original locations without going into "Imported bookmarks".
