Default Chrome with a proxy and without at same time

I have launched a chrome instance with the --proxy-server setting and this works fine, also with --user-data-dir set to a new default for my proxy instance. The problem is that even if I launch chrome again with my Default user-data-dir AND the --no-proxy-server option it's still using the proxy. How to run an instance with and an instance without a proxy? I guess I've missed some option.

Possibly someone could comment if you know its simply not possible? Do Chrome developers read these forums?
