Hi, since today chrome looks as followed:


It's been like this before but a reinstall could fix it then. Now it stays this ugly. Note that this is the default 'classic' theme. But it should be nice blue and this is ugly grey. In the top right corner i had 2 buttons, now only 1.
The homepage button is gone.
No more favicons.
Looks like Chrome v1.0 to me (it's 6.0.4...)

CTRL+B which normally controls the bookmarks page, does nothing.

I got no idea what to do.

This is the 3th time it happened to me. 2x on this machine (xp pro) and 1 time on another (vista home basic) But as said before, the other 2 times a reinstall did the trick.

This is how the UI looks like for Chrome 6, including the single consolidated menu.

Favicons are still shown, but they are only shown in the tab.

The keyboard shortcut for Bookmark Manager has been removed. But you can use the next closest 3-key sequence:
Alt+F -> B

Nothing has changed about the Homepage button. You can show it from: Wrench menu > Options > Basics > Show Home button on the toolbar

The default theme is grey now. You can get the classic blue them back from:
