Hi All, I'm hoping to find an answer without a full OS reinstall if possible,

I upgraded from Win Vista Business to Windows 7 Pro and I've bene able to work out most bugs except this major one...Google Chrome will not download anything. It starts to then shows completed but I can't run the file and am not convinced it downloaded properly. What's more, when i try to delete the file it gives me errors.

I uninstalled/reinstalled Chrome but no change. I know a reinstall of Windows is best but I'd like ot avoid this because it's a pain and I've been able to manage through all but this issue.

I'll also try adjusting the folder rights for the download folder in question (Public Downloads) and post the results.

Any thoughts?
