    Default A couple of problems...

    I recently updated my chrome to the latest version (4.0.211.4) and since then I've been having some problems I didn't have with the older version (sorry, can't recall which one was exactly)

    1. When watching a video online from Megavideo, it crashes every 9 minutes. The video pauses and says "loading 0%" and it keeps like that until I refresh the page. I go to the minute where it crashed, start watching from there and 9 minutes later... again the same thing. Over and over again. No problem when watching from Firefox.

    2. When I download a file it stops when the download size is 39,9Mb. From Firefox I can download properly. Maybe this one is related to the previous one? It seems like some kind of max download restriction? (Just guessing here)

    3. I get A LOT the "page not found" error, but when I refresh the page it loads properly. At first I thought it was some kind of problem with my internet connection, but I've checked with Firefox and didn't get a single not found error.

    4. Whenever I use a select menu and select one of the options the menu remains expanded (although it does select the option). Seems stupid, as the menus work, but it's quite annoying having to click somewhere else in order to close it...

    Any ideas about how to fix these issues? I guess I could go back to a previous version, but I'd rather don't as in that version the "print selection" option works and I use it a lot... BTW, in case it helps, my OS is Windows XP Professional with SP3.

    Thanks in advance

    Sadly this release of dev build is really buggy! Wait for a new release.

    This latest release is the worst I've ever known to the Dev channel ...

    Stick with 206 for the time being ;-)

    Just upgraded to the 4.0.211.7 and now it seems I can download and watch videos online properly! Still getting the "page not found" error and having trouble with the select menu, but well, at least some things were fixed

    Thank you both for your advice, but for now, as these two problems are solved, I think I'll stick to this version (again the "print selection" thing, I hate having to switch to Firefox everytime I want to use it...)

    Thanks again!

    The latest release (.211.7) isn't any better for me. Crashing all the time when accessing Flash content (e.g. videos, etc.). BUT... at least not as bad as the current Chromium build, which is even crashing when just double clicking a form lol.

    Yeah, very disturbing I sometimes have to reload pages 10 times until they are getting displayed...

    Thank you, but it didn't help. Well, Chrome is 20 times faster after clearing the cache *ggg*, but that's it.

    you could try something drastic though not recommended if you are a newbie;
    backup essential files and then remove the contents of the Chrome folder;
    at your own risk of course

    Thank you. I already completely re-installed Chrome today *g* no difference. But I read that some others are having the same issue in the Chrome bugs list, so I guess it's just a matter of time until there is a solution.

    I always think it's funny that some people don't have any problem at all and others can't even start the software. (not just Chrome/Chromium)
