Default Did Chrome do a major change? Not able to see video on website was able to before.

I have 3 different computers, I use several different browsers, I like using Google Chrome a lot, so much faster then all the others. I have been using it for maybe 2 years or something close to that. Up until 11/5/10, I was able to see streaming video on websites(WMV). One computer is an old Dell using XP home, One computer Using Windows 7 64 bit, one computer using XP professional windows 7.
One computer while I was using Google Chrome to watch the video Google Chrome would not show the video(was a blank area where the video usually is). So I switch using IE, going to the same website video worked, also check it out with FireFox(with the add-on for seeing WMV(streaming video, etc) worked fine. That same day-checked out the other two computers using Google Chrome-got on the website to check the streaming video, they both worked.(Friday Evening), the next day Sat. One computer the 64 bit , could not see the video-same website(using Google Chrome)but all other browsers still worked on that computer, the Dell computer the video stopped working also using Google Chrome. So I did a system restore to 11/4/10 on the 64 bit computer, using Google Chrome, went back to the website with the streaming video-it worked, so I said cool, something that was update messed Google Chrome up, thinking everything was good-(and happy) but later that day about 4 hours later, loaded up that same computer, using Google Chrome go to the website again-no video again-blank should be video there. And the other two computers the same. So I found an ext, for Google Chrome -something that I added to Google Chrome it turns your page(while using Google Chrome)like its viewing it in IE view-that works, but I do not like it. It works for the other 2 computers-but I would like to have Google Chrome work like it did before-I have not been able to find any answers anyplace on the web about this. Any help would be great.
    Thanks
    Scotty

I found another solution--I have started to use Flock-based on Chromium- and the video works on the websites-so I am done with Google Chrome for now-I get the speed that chrome has, and I can see the video again.

Google Chrome was awesome for about 2 years.
I hope they can fix the problem that I have mentioned above.
Google Chrome I will hang on to you though.
