About Half the time i try and play divx videos chrome crashes and says

The following plug-in is unresponsive ivx Web Player Would you like to stop it

divx works perfect with firefox on my pc

i have tried deleting and reinstalling chrome and divx but it only seems to have got worse

when i reinstalled chrome the plugins were already there.
i want to try removing and reinstalling just the divx plugin but can only find info on removing extensions from chrome not plugins

please help having to use firefox it pissing me off
