Have XP with SP3, Chrome 9.0.597.98.
Too often I will have a download stop short with no error message. Downloading an 80M file may succeed, or may quit at 5M or 75M or whatever. Shouldn't Chrome give an error message when the downloaded file size is less than the expected size? Or shouldn't Chrome try resuming a download (perhaps with a "Resumed x times" message) when the download obviously did not finish? How about "Download interrupted, continue?" if it is a glitch in the connection to the internet?

do u mean while downloading from filehost such as rs,hf ?

if yes then if u download as a free user then they dont support resume capabilities .

I don't know what rs or hf is. It happens with different file types and on different sites. I have a high speed DSL connection.

I'm having the same problem man... Sometimes I can't even download programs or anything like that... It just stops while its downloading...
