since the last update i've had trouble with the dynamic tabs. i can take a tab and pull it off into a new window, but that's about all i can do. in fact, that's the result of about everything else--when i try to shift the position of a tab within a window or put a free floating tab back into another window, it always creates its own window for the tab.

when i try shifting a tab or putting it back in a window, i get this symbol at the top center of the screen:

i can get the tab to briefly go into the position i want it in while i'm still holding down the mouse button, for half a second, but when i release the mouse button during that half second it still makes its own window.

anyone know what to do?

My Chrome version: 3.0.182.3 (Official Build 17055)
Everything behaves as expected, no problems here.

didn't know there was 3.something out. i just updated to that, but the problem is still there.

i've reinstalled without uninstalling and switched to the dev channel but i'm unsure of how it deals with favorites/history, i don't want to lose that. what file(s) do i need to keep track of when uninstalling?

found the files and tried a reinstall, didn't work.
