As the title really, in standard browser just a black box with no controls,works fine in an incognito window. System is running 64bit win7, with chrome 4.0.249.89 unknown (38071) shown in the about chrome pop-up.

Have nod32, comodo firewall, and malwarebytes(full).

Solved, found some info in another thread re Adblock extension. I just disabled an option (block youtube ads beta) and all is good.Love chrome by the way.
