Exclamation Fonts and images too small in new version of Chrome 6.0.472.53

I have to apply zoom to everything in this new version of Chrome, including all my bookmarks individually, any websites I visit and Hotmail. What's up? Has anyone else experienced this problem. Any suggestions as to a fix?
Any help would be appreciated as this problem is infuriating. Thanks and peace!

Thanks for the suggestions, but this will not address my problem completely since it is not just the fonts that are too small, it's Chrome itself (the top tool bar has shrunk to an almost unusable size as has the preferences page) and every web page I open is minuscule in size as well. I have been using Chrome for a while now and this is the first version (6.0.473.53) where I have ever had this problem. Will there be a fix soon? Also there is much conjecture in the forum if Chrome retains older versions of itself after doing an update. If so, could it be that an older version is causing conflict with this latest version? How can one delete these older versions if that is the case? Thanks for your help. It is appreciated.

Sorry, Ive never heard of a problem like this one.
Just out of interest can you supply a screenshot?
Also what OS and whats the resolution your running in?

I just had a look around and it sounds like you might have the DPI problem.....

My screen resolution is 1920 x 1080. My OS is Win 7 Ultimate 64 bit. I'll send you a screen shot next. I find it curious that it has only been with this latest version of Chrome that I've encountered this problem. I have changed nothing concerning my settings to my computer across the various updates of Chrome.
Thanks for your help. It is appreciated.
    Peace!

If you look at those links i think people mention that this wasnt evident in an earlier version, they also state that people are working on it so hopefully itll be reverted.

Yes Yes and Yes!! I have a HTPC and surf chrome form 8' away on my 52" LCD. I'v always used the Auto Zoom Plugin (Szsz.pl) to make websites viewable, but now I can barely use the Chrome UI at all. I'm too frickin old to slide off the couch onto the floor, squint my eyes, and spend 5 minutes with my wireless mouse trying to hit the G***am back button!

(cant believe i'm sayin it) Isn't IE9 coming out soon??????????????????
