All, I am having extensive issues doing an enterprise deployment of the Google Chrome Frame snap-in for IE6, where the install takes circa 20 minutes to complete whilst the MSI install tries to workout that it is unable to connect to the internet to update.I am running with the downloadable standard GoogleChromeFrameStandaloneEnterprise.msi file that I downloaded off the google site.I have tried numerous solutions to get this fixed, but to no avail. There are about 1000 desktops at stake here so I need to get across the problem and understand how to make it run in a timely fashion. When I test with the Internet accessible to the installing machine, or I remove the LAN cable both installs run in about 3-4 minutes which is the sort of timeframes I would have expected.I have reviewed a number of posts and forum comments about corporate firewalls and the likes, but in my circumstances I do not have the ability to block updates from Google through the firewall because there are multiple other desktops not sitting in this part of the enterprise that may require these services.Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
