sorry Luc VN, no intention there. if that was the case then nobody reads these posts looking at the difference in figures.
I have cut the above bit from my site and it does not look like £'s to me. that surely is not a uk pound sign on google is it? it looks like a euro.
Hi all
As nobody has posted an aswer for a few days I am unsure if there is anybody out there or like me you cannot make up your mind what that sign means. also I am over 50 years old and have never seen UK currency split by a comma (unless its thousands of pounds and above).
Is it possible to contact google to seek their advice?
regards

I went to both webpages: http://www.realfans.org.uk and http://www.realfans.org.uk/cricket/6...-pakistan.html and all the prices I see show in UK pounds £.
@hippooflove, as far as I know, Chrome will not change the currency or change any text or symbols in the content of any webpage. The purpose of any browser is to load and display the contents of the webpage as loaded.
Often, many "weird" problems like this are caused by extensions, many of which do modify and change content of webpages!Do you have any extensions or user scripts installed? Does the problem still happen if you disable all extensions? What about other computers, like with relatives and friends? Does the problem still happen if you view the same webpage on other computers?
I suppose you can report this issue to Google directly as a bug in the Chromium project (the open-source project used to make the Google Chrome browser). However, so far, I think you are the only person experiencing this and the problem is more likely some setup issue on your computer rather than with Google Chrome.
