I Play Castle Age and Mafia Wars on FaceBook and Use Google Chrome as my Browsers.

Lately i cannot seem to load pages and everything runs slow when it eventually does load. In the bottom left corner i constantly see numbers counting down and parts of the page load bit by bit really slowly.

I have turned off and re-loaded and sometimes Google Chrome loads and sometimes it doesn't.. Really frustrated and feel like just not using computer again.
I am using version 8.0.552.215.
I have the Adobe Activex flash player version 10 installed.

Can any body please help or should i switch to another browser...

Seems no one replies to these questions with Chrome problems. I have some problems with Chrome too, but nobody says anything for two days now. I'm using MozFireF for the time being. Chrome is driving me crazy for now.

omg...i am having the same problems, the last few days....i cannot stand it...chrome keeps crashing...keep getting very weird warning from "windows"....what the heck is going on here Google...i'm a BIG stock holder and this isn't very good for service here...please help!!!!

yep same issue, mostly on Facebook, especially when invite windows open up(it slows drastically and the please wait window opens). in mafia wars it does the same or I get a Flash plugin unresponsive. Clear cache and even have run my speed up program, scanned for viruses, scanned for malware, even ran my registry fix, all normal

I downgrade to Chrome 8 Stable (I was always using latest beta) and all the problems disappeared. There is a trick to avoid annoying message about your profile, but once I fixed that too, everything is OK for two days now.

Does anyone know how to get rid of the auto resizing (shrinking) of the page on FB when u try to accept a gift from the Zynga games?

well if u have many extensions then chrome would run slowly as extensions take lot of space

what do u mean by numbers counting down ? can u post a pic ?

well bro the profile could not be opened correctly problem is due to a chrome process running already

close ur chrome browser

press ctrl+alt+del

go to process ..then press "c" and find the chrome process.end the process that should solve it
