We are currently trying to install Google Chrome for a selected group of users in our business environment. We will be deploying it using the MSI "Google Chrome Standalone Enterprise" through AD policy's. But that is not where the problem lies.

The real problem is the fact that the MSI tries to connect to the internet during installation to update itself. This is prohibited for normal users, unless they go through our MS ISA 2004 proxy server. However since the Chrome install tries to directly connect to the internet and so installation takes very long (20 to 30 minutes). We have tried to open the firewall to the IP's which are accessed during the installation, but we found out these IP's are changing every now and then.

Questions therefor are:
- Is it somehow possible to let the installation of Chrome use the business proxy?
- If not, what are all the IP's that Google Chrome tries to connect to during installation (and probibly during updating as well)?
