I've had chrome for around 1 month and had this issue since the beginning. This doesn't always happen though, but sometimes when i go to and switch tabs instead of going to the other website it deletes it instead. And if i click on the current tab it also deletes it. I then have to restart chrome and sometimes it will work fine but usually the issue persists for a while.

I've uninstalled and installed chrome a few times and the issue still arises. I have the latest chrome and windows xp. I would love to solve this issue since chrome is the fastest web browser i've come across.

Go to the Wrench and select About Google Chrome

I have chrome 4.0. The latest one.
