A buddy of mine was one of the lucky guys who got the latest buggy Chrome release delivered. After 2! hours of re-configuring and even removing and re-installing we were finally able to get Chrome working. (We were seriously thinking about installing Chromium!)

He was using Google's latest bookmarking sync feature before and all his bookmarks are saved in Google Docs. After enabling the "--enable-sync" parameter, nothing is happenin' at all. Is "Bookmark Sync" not available? I remember our Steve tried it out some time ago and it worked...

My buddy is waiting since yesterday for his bookmarks to merge with Google Chrome... but still nothing at all

I can't find an information that bookmark synchronization has been disabled...

Anyone?

bookmarks sync is working with my dev Chrome 211.4

bookmark sync isnt working for me, if i put my cursor near my toolstrip it crashes, when i open my chrome after a crash it crashes arg, wtf is happening chrome XD

Very weird. The latest version seems to have many more bugs. Closing some tabs takes forever and even dropdown menus are damaged... let's see when they release an update... but I guess a quick downgrade would be better

Really... this latest build is the worst ever. Right now I was filling the textarea to post, and... BOOM!... that "Aw, Snap!" page appeared - the page crashed without reason!

Well, let me remember what I was posting... hmm... oh, the sync feature is working here, however due the lack of possibility to delete the folder in Google Docs, I'm not able to keep using it. I did clean my bookmarks manually in my local installation, and If I sync it's going to merge, which is going to screw all.

I don't get why Google didn't plan to release this feature (for test purposes only) just after they make possible to delete older syncs from Google Docs.

It's the same as release the ability to install extensions, but don't let the user to delete them.
