Default Help me with new tabs

When I open a new tab, or the incognito tab, it always opens up in the right hand side of my screen, and shifted towards the bottom. I cannot get to the maximize button, its off the screen. I can right click on the tab on the bottom of the page to maximize, but its annoying as h**l. Would anyone be able to help a dummy to fix this?

It sounds like you are opening a new window not a new tab. A new tab opens within your existing instance of chrome, a new window opens separately and usually uses "smart placement" which in this instance seems to be a bit off, more likely a display problem with your system than with chrome. Instead of using tools to open a new window try just clicking the cross next to the tab currently open. check the image. http://www.box.net/shared/xxu6ono7qk
