The first window i open maximizes automatically, but when i try and open extra windows they are not. I prefer to tab through windows rather than use the "open new tab" option. But it is kinda annoying having to maximize every extra window i open seperately.

Create shortcut to Google Chrome "exe" file, open properties of that shortcut and in the Target field add " -start-maximized" so you'll get something like:
"C:\Users\iGSam\AppData\Local\Google\Chrome\Application\chrome.exe -start-maximized"
That's it. After that every Chrome window will be opened maximized.
