You might want to try Google Chrome Backup
You can export your bookmarks from the bookmark manager (Right-click the bookmarks bar->Bookmark manager then Tools->Export bookmarks).
~ Projects ~
Specialized: Carapass Auction Watcher, Kongregate Chat
Libraries: bliplib
Tools: manifest syntax highlighting & snippits
~ Happy to make extensions for pay too ;D ~
Portfolio: Search and Share
You can always do Ctrl + Shift + B (Bookmark manager) to get there quicker ;-)
And if you don't want to bother with the export/import function, you can just copy the "Bookmarks" file from the "user data" folder.
The default location should be something like:
C:\Documents and Settings\LOGIN_NAME\Local Settings\Application Data\Google\Chrome\User Data\Default
for example, mine is located:
C:\Documents and Settings\PeterR\Local Settings\Application Data\Google\Chrome\User Data\Default
The only problem with Exporting your Bookmarks as a backup is that if you need to get them back you can only Import them ...
They then end up in the Other Bookmarks and you have to drag and drop them back to your bookmarks bar ta make any sense out of them ....
I much prefer copying them somewhere safe, that way you can just copy them back to your Data folder and they are exactly as they were ;-)
Don't forget you've also got a backup in your data folder anyway (Bookmarks.bak) ...
Of course this is not a lot of use if you've managed to corrupt or lose your data folder ;-D
What's the difference between a Super Moderator and a Moderator ?
I suppose a Super Moderator has more rights to the forum's features than a Moderator
Obviously a question for Chrome ...
@Chrome
Could you explain the difference between the two and if there are any more forum officials that we should be aware of ?
