Thumbs down How to save Chrome session "state" and individual tab history?

FireFox session manager plugins save the browsers state as well as individual tab history when restoring a saved/crashed session. So far when Chrome crashes and restores the session, all it does is reload a list of the last page loaded on each tab. The individual tab's history (if you hit <Back> or <Forward>) is gone. Are there any currently available plugins that allow you to save the browsers state and individual tab history?

I just had a crash and when chrome restored the history for the tabs was still there (same when I close/restart chrome), I have XP and Chrome version 4.0.466.0
