    Default How to use extensions

so i have the NEWEST CHROME 3.0.195.27 installed on my vista 32bit cpu.

i am moving over from FIREFOX. i notice that the extension support is discontinued [Tool] Chrome.ExtensionManager as it is mostly integrated into chrome.

buy how to i add extensions? gmail? adblock? clock etc?

i've looked, searched but can't find an answer.

every time i try to d/l an extension is says "extensions are not enabled". i d/l ExtensionManagerv1.1.zip and enabled extensions, but i still get the error message.

*** updated *** after a bit more searching on this forum, it appears my version of chrome might not support extensions. i'm guessing i have to install a beta or similar version.

it still kills me that i can get GMAIL to work in FIREFOX with 1 click and with CHROME it's a hassle. kind of embarrassing for GOOGLE if you as me.

i do like the browser though. it's a little different and will take some time to get used to, but it's fast and simple, although i might have to switch back for everyday use for the ease of addons and extensions in FIREFOX. we'll see.
i've since removed it as i can't add them anyways.

anyone have this problem with the new chrome.
