Besides several other problems I seem to share with many of the posters here, I am really not happy with the fact that Chrome changes all of my URL icons. Desktop, program files, doesn't matter, if the icon is a shortcut for a URL, it turns into that little round Chrome icon thingy, the three colored circle.

Beside the fact that I really like my icons to reflect what they're for, meaning, I can look at the pic and identify the site by the specific icon, I rather resent the fact that Chrome just automatically assumes I want all of them changed.

Is there some setting I can change so it doesn't do that? I've really been trying hard to like Chrome as my default browser, but it's the little things like this, on top of not being able to open PDFs, not having more control over the tabs, no Google toolbar...things I rely on, that are making it hard to do.

Love the speed, the clean interface and several other things, but it's the under the hood stuff, not even the plugins and extensions I'm having trouble with.

Thanks.
