Today Chrome (latest developer version) started crashing on my computer.

After I removed the --enable-sync it worked.

although you can get the update from other sources, Google pulled the update; meaning no auto update

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh... now I got it *g*

Well I didn't even know that Chrome has been updated. All I did was restarting Chrome because it was getting terrible slow. And then it crashed.. and crashed and crashed. Unfortunately, there is no way to remove the update (after it has been applied) and so the solution was to remove the --enable-sync parameter... and that worked fine.

is the 206 folder still around?
if you want to revert to it, remove the 211 folder;
rename the 206 to 211 :-)

Yes, it was still around as it seems


Thanks, but no other folder in Chrome/Applications anymore Well, but it's okay. I can live without the Google Sync
