Even though "Internet Download Manager" supports Chrome
so that every time i click to download it pops up my DM instead of generic chrome download
I still have an issues with videos
thing is that Internet Download Manager supports a direct download
of a video from a web page, so if i found a video i like (youtube)
there is a spacial icon above it that offers me to download it with IDM
problem is that while it works with IE and FireFox, it doest work with Chrome
i just dont have the spacial button on top of the video window to download it.

Please if there anything that can be done to fix it, please do so

By the way, IDM causes a system hang issue with Windows 7 if Chrome is installed.

Actually IDM doesn't support chrome. when you activated "advance browser intregation" in IDM, the IDM will monitoring windows shell. so when user click some url with extensions listed in IDM, it 'll be downloaded. same action as antivirus do

Hey same here. I am using Windows 7 RTM and it's still happening.

And also, the problem does not lie in Google Chrome itself, as it comes from Internet Explorer. The thing is, IDM advanced integration modifies IE settings which Chrome uses, causing either browser to hang the system when launched.

So I must clearly say the problem lies in IDM's incompatibility.

Does this mean that FDM is currently still the only download manager that works with Chrome?

I want idm integration for chrome
